BRICKELL AREA

BRICKELL

The Brickell Area is so named because it straddles the north-south avenue bearing the same name. It is an urban neighborhood as well as South Florida’s major financial district and one of the largest financial districts in the United States. It is also home to most of the state’s foreign consulates and international banks.

In addition to its corporate community, Brickell is a dense high-rise neighborhood with upscale luxury condominiums and apartment towers. As such, it has become known as the “Manhattan of the South”.

East of Brickell Avenue is Brickell Key, a gated island of upscale high-rise residential and hotel towers.

At the center of the Brickell Area is Mary Brickell Village hosting an assortment of restaurants, boutiques and other establishments that make it an area where young professionals gather to enjoy the high-class retail stores and restaurants. The project is designed after a French-style village.
